SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it's alarmed concerning the substantial range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office committed to service the area regularly. The provider place developed for intervention encounters a higher inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for your office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to permit the sassa status check servicing of all consumers and boost usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
